Shorts in the City

Here’s a look behind the scenes of our latest photo shoot. We had a great day shooting our new da Silva denim shorts. Enjoy!

One by one the team in charge of putting the CARDi vision for the “Shorts in the City” shoot arrived. Working with an entirely new crew, from stylist Melissa L., photographer Monica S., make-up artist Edith M., and model Candice G.; the staff showed up 8am and prepared for the busy day ahead of us.

As Chris added some finishing touches to a newly inspired woven, hair and make-up began. Two hours later the team was ready to hit the streets. It had rained for five consecutive days in Miami prior to the shoot, and as any local Miamian can tell you; the days after rain are when the humidity and heat index are at its highest. Our team braved the scorching elements and the shoot began.

The location of our first scene was the beautiful shops of the Design District. The weekend wouldn’t be complete without a stroll through the city to see the latest must haves. Model Candice made her way through the streets of the District occasionally stopping to admire an item or two.

Next we headed to Margaret Pace Park on beautiful Bayshore Drive. Two looks were shot at this location which overlooks Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami.
